i think people can almost be categorized into two groups. people who see someone they recognize and go up to talk to them. and people who see someone they recognize and try to hide.
On our last Costco trip, I saw TWO people from high school. I successfully avoided both of them and felt like a boss. I treated myself to an ice cream cone on the way out.
I only sort of wish I was kidding.
