as of late...

watching - mad men & alias

two shows that are completely different but equally awesome. i am so in love with everything about both of them....it requires its own blog post.

listening - first aid kit. pretty.

looking forward to - the rogue wave concert in july. brittany was quoted as saying i would have rogue wave's children (collectively). she was correct.

wanting - a moped. you guys....i'm thisclose to buying one. i'm not even kidding this time....

eating - almond crisps.
holy addicting. it's unfortunate they are so extravagantly priced. i have to ration them...

hoping - to buy more vinyl. someone please take me to a used record store?

this is what happens when you laptop hinge breaks and you have to abandon your beloved lappy in 'daho.


i have now commandeered my roommate's laptop in a feeble attempt to reconnect with the online world.


i have approximately 18 tabs open to accommodate the many blogs i've fallen behind in. i haven't even checked facebook yet. who knows what's been happening there! pregnancies, marriages, the reversal of a relationship status from "in a relationship" to "single." the things i don't know!

i have my very own room with my very own bathroom in an apartment with cable. i have also recently discovered (somewhat to my embarrassment) that i can also get cable in my room. things are good. cable is good. i am in a serious committed relationship with TLC.


the weather has been more acceptable lately which means i finally got to attend the farmer's market (with the mangelsons in tow) where i purchased a most amazing headband. also, i have been able to ride my bike, go for walks, and see some (but not as many as hoped) hummingbirds.


to aid in my journey to become a grown-up i have purchased a blender. i am now a whiz at making delicious smoothies. (ok....i've really one mastered one kind so far. but it's super good....so)


my grandma got a new puppy. i am ridiculously excited to go home to play with it. seriously, it's the thing i'm most looking forward to right now.


so basically, i have yet to figure out any of the more pressing issues of life. but, hey, i have all summer. i'm not too worried.


p.s. i know this blog is long (ish) and has no pictures. (which is really unfortunate...especially since you can't see the puppy pictures...) kudos for making it to the end. and when i am reunited with my computer, posts will start to look prettier. maybe.
