March.

What up March?

This month we slowly recovered from the stomach flu. (I know I already complained about this on the last post, but listen, it was the longest week ever.)

We spent  a kid-free weekend in Vegas with two of our favorite couples. Activities included a zip line, a tapas restaurant, struggling to find the door to a speak easy, touring a chocolate factory and cactus garden, going to the outdoor mall, eating at shake shack (oh my goooosh), getting dressed up for a fancy dinner, strolling the strip, and checking out the Neon Museum (my new favorite).

In an effort to better appreciate our city, we spent an afternoon exploring 9th and 9th and admiring antiques and lots of cute clothes and house accessories we can't afford.

Norah and I went to Malad for Easter celebratin'!

Her perfect little flipped up curls kill me.

Round 2 of baby stomach flu.

Finally recovered and celebrating at the frolf park!
Trying real hard to talk us into this push car at Toys R'Us
Hanging out with cousins in Malad.
My parents are very patient to deal with my constant requests for photos when Norah is staying with them.
The full size version of this one, because holy crap.
Dinner at an amazing tapas place in Vegas. We got to sign this book when we were done!
So cactus gardens are really cool.

Two stolen instagram pictures because I'm just that lazy.
Pre-fancy dinner selfie.

And two poorly lit fancy dinner pictures.
The Neon Museum.
Snack game on point.
After an afternoon exploring 9th and 9th we stopped in for some gelato. Norah was a big fan.
Park life.

Unicorn is still very beloved at our house, even by Wallace.
Busy day at work.
Alphabet cookies are an easy way to keep Norah happy at Target.
Seriously though.

Norah is a fan of egg painting.
Grandpa and mini-me.
Red carpet is not a good photo background.

Is Norah spoiled? Grandparents say no.
Parents also say no.
These two are just the greatest.

February.

This February I finally made my dreams of hosting/attending a Galentine's Party a reality. Ashley and I hosted it together, and not to brag, but it was a total hit. We  had a tattoo station, nail painting station, gift swap, and brunch! Who's going to hire us to plan their next event?

Brian went on a guys trip to Wendover and I was basically terrified to parent that long by myself. (yep, I'm a huge huge wuss.) It was super fun to get so much quality time with Norah and we met up with Jamilyn, Clementine, and Ashley one morning at Storybrook Cafe, hung out at Wheeler Farm, went on a coffee run, and made a lot of food on her play kitchen.

We celebrated President's Day by eating chinese food and finding out there hasn't been a carosel in the Sandy mall for quite some time. Womp womp.

I had a doctor's appointment and decided to take the whole day off for a treat yo'self day, which included a breakfast where I didn't have to feed anyone but myself (or bribe anyone to stay in their highchair) and some thrifting.

That night we went to Liberty Park and ate at Chedda Burger for the first time!

Unfortunately, both of those experiences were tainted because the next day kicked off a week of stomach flu that took. out. everyone. It was a long long week of not going to work, doing all the laundry, and a tiny silver lining of getting so many Norah cuddles. Stomach flu. I don't recommend it.

Brian made this after an episode of the Bachelor and I think I cried from laughing so hard. I've never loved him more.

Norah is impressed with my 100 count box of Crayolas.
Lattes at 3 Cups.

I love these ninja books and our library.
Basket head.
Norah wanted to wear these cat ears for a straight week.
1988. 2016.
Galentines Day!
We found out Norah loves egg drop soup.

One of those well timed morning tantrums.
18 hours in to solo-parent weekend.
Shoe twins!
Walking around Wheeler.

Feral child eating oreos under the table.

A selfie cause I had the day off AND a good hair day.
and got to get breakfast by myself. Those raspberry granola pancakes are my life.
Baby genius at Chedda Burger.
The month ended like this, with everyone throwing up for daaaays. It was miserable, but we all survived.
