microwave safe.

in the fall of 2008, my roommates and i found ourselves the occupants of a cozy three person apartment. old but well kept, the only caveat was the lack of dishwasher and microwave. we soon found ourselves capable of (gasp) hand washing our dishes but we couldn't quite acquire the radiation necessary to microwave our food by hand.

in the nick of time (i was almost starving to death as my microwave-only food gathered dust in the cupboard) an economy size microwave from the secret quarters of a teacher's lounge was bestowed upon us. the microwaving space inside the device was large enough to fit a turkey, or more graphically, a small baby. (neither of these items were attempted)

as now we find ourselves in a different location, and one that comes with said appliance, we decided to pay tribute to our large friend in the best way we knew how... rolling it down old main hill.

certain, rather important, elements of the great microwave roll of 2009 were overlooked. namely, the removal of the glass plate inside, and lacking the proper knowledge of the physical properties of cubical objects. (if you were wondering, they aren't entirely adept at rolling)

the microwave finally met it's end in the dumpster behind old main. it will be missed.
