lately

 

what's been going on lately, you ask?

 

well....

• first, and foremost, brian finished spring semester which means i'll have a husband all to myself for 4 glorious months.

• i chopped my hair. after debating about it for a few months I finally just went for it. and it's honestly the first time I haven't regretted a hair cut. i'll share a picture sometime if I feel like it.

• this is so exciting it should probably be at the top of the list. but I have a new job!! I am full of happiness and joy and the hope that comes from knowing you will never again have a tenant make you sit on a toilet in front of her to see if the seat is broken. (I just....yeah)

• we're getting stuff crossed off on our to-do list, like cleaning out our bedroom and finally getting the rest of our thank you's sent off. (I have yet to meet a task I haven't loved procrastinating)

• since my new job is going to be located farther south, we're planning on moving to that area once our lease is up at the end of july. looking at pretty complexes has made our current college style place really look it's age. (and by age I mean 19. because I think a lot of 19 year olds live there)

• I started running again and then promptly stopped. anyone have good suggestions on how to stay motivated? because....i'm struggling.

• i'm also really trying to develop a more balanced way of eating. I really enjoyed this article and I've been reading this series. I know brian and I eat too much sugar and processed food and I would love to work my way to a more well rounded diet.

 

that's all the big stuff i can think of currently. I should probably start working on clearing stuff of my desk since i have approximately three and a half days left to sit here. hooray!

 

anyone want to go camping or hiking or anything? brian and I are trying to be more outdoorsy.
