- having a pool is good for our marriage. it's a thing we like to do together, and it's aaaaaalways fun. everyone, go swimming with your spouse. it's the greatest. (also brian is hilarious in the pool. seriously. i usually end up laughing enough to swallow some pool water)
- i wore my hair in the tiniest of topknots today and it really made my morning. the only thing i seem to miss about long hair is being able to pile it on top of my head.
- in other hair news, pretty sure i'm going to cut bangs again. i'll keep you posted on whether or not i regret it.
- a lot of our neighbors are retired couples. one of them likes to talk to me in the laundry room while wearing a chest-exposing Hawaiian shirt. it's the greatest.
- we're wanting to go to portland in about a month and a half. any tips on fun/cheap things to do there?
- this weekend brian pointed out two drawers in our kitchen that i had somehow never noticed. i think i thought they were those fake drawers that are under sinks? anyway, i was real excited.
- should we care that 80% of our apartment was purchased from ikea? cause...we don't.
- we're going to san francisco in a week and a half, and i'm all kinds of excited about it.
- related to that, our one year wedding anniversary is also in a week and a half. so forgive me if i get all nostalgic and wedding-y up in here.
oh no! it's starting already!
