well it's october. so i guess it's as good a time as any to do a little summer wrap up post.
this first married summer was a good one. our Summer Fun Club (was that the official name? i hope not..) embarked on many an adventure, and brian and i tried to make the most of the longer, school-free days.

this first married summer was a good one. our Summer Fun Club (was that the official name? i hope not..) embarked on many an adventure, and brian and i tried to make the most of the longer, school-free days.
summer looked something like this...
we recreated our first date,
celebrated brian's birthday. (he's sooooo cute. i can't handle it)
his party included dinner at Ruth's Diner and a 90's music sing-along. (we busted out Semi-Charmed Life like nobody's business)
we had a living room campout (that the cats kept invading)
we went to tracy aviary. that place is cool and i like birds.
we went to Lagoon and i got nauseous for the first time after a ride and felt really old.
fell in love with this place.
we went camping outside of our apartment. (and look! proof above and below that there were other people around)
the boys climbed a rock,
and we went on a hike to this pretty lake.
sorry your eyes are closed brian.
we went back to the temple we got married in.
we attended the Utah State Fair for the first time. that funnel cake does not mess around.
we checked out a hot air balloon festival.
and we went to a nickelcade. more proof that we have friends!
(also the striped baby bump is now a real life baby! she is adorable and we are super excited for jamilyn and nathan)
other summer fun club activities not pictured include a drive-in movie, a couple record listening parties, watching on our own (which we basically all had childhood memories of), and a bunch of late night food and ice cream runs.
also it wouldn't be fair to leave out our cat children. their activities this summer have included bird watching, napping, running through the hallway, and lurking outside the bathroom. [seriously. you won't see them for hours but the second you decide to use the bathroom they're sticking their paws under the door. it's creepy]
i bid you a fond farewell summer.
Fall Fun Club assemble!!
Woo Hoo! I love this! I'm glad someone documented most of my favorite summer activities for me. Fall Fun Club resolution for me- I must take more pictures!
